Day 01Marrakech - Telouet Kasbah - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - Ouarzazate. Night in Riad.
Cross the High Atlas Mountains by the Tizi n'Tichka road and turn into the Ounila Valley to visit Telouet Kasbah. Continue through striking mountain scenery to the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou before reaching Ouarzazate for the night.
Day 02Ouarzazate - Rose Valley - Dades Gorges. Night in the guesthouse.
Leave Ouarzazate along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing the palm groves of Skoura and the Valley of Roses. Continue through the sculpted landscapes of the Dades Valley to the gorges, where you will spend the night in a guesthouse.
Day 03Dades Gorges - Todgha Gorges - Merzouga. Night in the guesthouse.
Leave the Dades Gorges and travel to Tinghir for a walk beneath the towering limestone walls of the Todgha Gorges. Continue through the palm oases and Berber towns of the south toward Merzouga, arriving beside the Erg Chebbi dunes for the night in a guesthouse.
Day 04Tour of Merzouga - Visit nomadic family - Camel Ride. Night in desert camp.
Explore the area around Erg Chebbi, meeting a nomadic family and learning about everyday life in the desert. Later, return to Merzouga and ride a camel into the dunes for sunset, dinner, music, and an overnight stay in the desert camp.
Day 05Merzouga - Ziz Valley - Fes
Depart Merzouga and travel north through the Ziz Valley, pausing for panoramic views over its palm groves. Cross the Atlas via Midelt, the cedar forests near Azrou, and Ifrane before arriving in Fes in the evening.
Day 06Tour of Fes. Night in the Riad
Explore Fes with a local guide, entering the UNESCO-listed medina through its historic gates. Walk the narrow lanes to traditional souks, Quranic schools, artisan workshops, the Nejjarine quarter, and viewpoints over the famous tanneries, with time to understand the city's living crafts and history.
